EventSync

Paste any event link and every artist, date, venue and ticket detail lands on your website. I designed and built the product for an events client, then gave it a website, a launch film, a hero loop and social posts.

The problem

Every event, typed in twice

EventSync turns any event link into a listing on an organiser’s own website. No typing, no missed fields, live in seconds.

It started with a client. Their events live on a listing service with no way to connect it to their own website, so every event had to be copied across by hand. I built EventSync so they can publish an event themselves, without me. Alongside it I built the website it publishes to.

The launch

The launch, in motion

A launch film that shows the whole product in sixteen seconds, a hero loop for the homepage, and posts for launch.

Hero loop: every link becomes a live listing

Process

Storyboard to film

The film is one continuous move with no cuts: the link breaks into its details, the details build the listing, the listing lands on a venue’s site. A timer runs from the paste to “published”, so the speed is shown, not claimed.

Storyboard 1: an event link pasted into a single pill — 1 · Paste any event link

Storyboard 2: the link breaks into event, date, venue, tickets and lineup chips — 2 · Every detail, pulled out

Storyboard 3: the details snap into an event listing card — 3 · No typing, no missed fields

Storyboard 4: the listing goes live on a venue website, timer reads published — 4 · Live on the venue’s site
